Biography
Ludovic Redon, bass-baritone, born in 1979, took singing lessons in the Conservatories of Limoges (Daniel Delarue), Poitiers (Genevieve Bouillet), Versailles (Gaël de Kerret), and still passionate singing focused very quickly in Netherlands and improved his technique of Classical singing and pedagogy in the Conservatory of Amsterdam (graduate) with Paula de Wit, Valérie Guillorit, Margreet Honig and David Wilson-Johnson.

Moreover, Benoît Lelièvre, director, co-commissioned musical composition of a short film, Chocolat Café Opera, with the proposed broadcasts on TV channel Arte. This short film was written for roles with Anne-Marguerite Werster (replacing Natalie Dessay), Laurent Naouri, Nora Gubisch, Stéphane Degout, Jerome Pradon.

It was possible to hear him as soloist in Miami (Florida, USA) in Miami Beach Festival of the Arts, the Concertgebouw  in Amsterdam with the Uranie Chamber Ensemble. He also sang in the Senate (Musée du Luxembourg) in Paris with the ensemble Les Cours européennes associated with a record discography (At the time of Veronese), the Ensemble Hexachordum in Amersfoort and Amsterdam (Der Friede sei mit dir), Les Heures romantiques for the Festival with Monthodon recording discography (Passion Oratorio C. Loewe), the Concert spirituel at Saint-Roch church in Paris and in recitals in Brussels (Passa Porta) and Amsterdam (Goethe-Institut) with composers Mozart (Don Giovanni , Die Zauberflöte), Bach (Matthäus Passion), Schumann (Lieder und Duette), Mendelssohn (Duette), Duparc (Melodies), Schubert (Lieder), Wolf (Lieder) in honor of the German writer Klaus Mann (Hundertjahrfeier/centennial), and in August 2012 at the 30th Festival of the Périgord Noir in King Arthur Purcell, roles Oswald and Genius of Cold. 

In addition to his activities bass-baritone soloist , he has sung in many professionnal choirs old, classical, romantic, contemporary music, opera (Limoges Opera House, Poitiers, Versailles, Paris, Vezelay, San Francisco, Miami, Dortmunt, Detmold, Graz, Coimbra, Lisboa, Rodez, Antwerpen, Brussels, Gennevilliers Theatre, Tours Opera House, Strasbourg, Rouen, Lusignan, Ligugé, Massy Opera House, Nancy Opera House, Amsterdam Opera House, Haarlem, Lyon Opera House) and Dutch Radio Music (MCO).

He conducted several ensembles and choirs in France after his studies in the CESMD Poitou-Charentes in Poitiers (Diplôme d'Etat) and University in musicology (Bachelor) in Poitiers. He also taught violin in l'Espace Arcadie in Poitiers, and played violin with the ensemble Insuler (jazz, creole music). He also participated in a masterclass of Tibetan Opera in Quai Branly Museum in Paris.

American composer and conductor Timothy J. Brown gave four of his works written for bass-baritone to Ludovic Redon, titled Returning (2008), Luces y sombras (2004), La Cuirasse d'amour (duet with a soprano, 2008), A Song Cycle on texts by Mark Doty (2000).
Tania Sikelianou , greek violinist and composer wrote a piece for baritone and piano dedicated to Ludovic Redon, entitled Breathe In, Breathe Out (2012)...

From May 2014 till July 2015, Ludovic Redon taught Singing and Choir Conducting in the Conservatory of Troyes in France.

From September 2015, he's teaching classical singing in the Conservatory of Belfort in France, next to Switzerland.
